Sanika is working to transform India’s organ donation landscape. After the loss of her grandfather — who had wished to donate his organs — Sanika launched Gifting Life in 2023 as a tribute to his memory. The initiative focuses on busting myths and building public awareness around organ donation. Since its launch, Sanika has reached over 20,000 people and inspired more than 300 to register as organ donors through outreach events, corporate sessions, and social media campaigns. She has partnered with organizations such as AdOnMo, Rotary Club, and MOHAN Foundation, and is advocating for policy reforms — including the addition of organ donation consent to Telangana’s driver’s license forms.
