About Cauê
Through mentoring, immersive courses, and networking spaces, Cauê strengthens the paths of young people from the periphery
Cauê grew up in the Coreia favela in Rio de Janeiro’s West Zone, where he faced the loss of his father to drug trafficking and the daily challenges of violence and inequality. Education became his path to transformation, and after earning a scholarship to a private school, he witnessed firsthand the deepdisparities in access and opportunity.
Determined to change that reality for others like him, Cauê founded YAAP Brasil, an organization that offers freementorships, immersive courses, and support networks to over 2,000 marginalized youth across the country.
YAAP empowers students to believe in their potential, bridging the gap between talent and opportunity. Cauê dreams of expanding the initiative to public schools nationwide and internationally, proving that transformation starts not with privilege, but with courage, community, and the refusal to walk alone.
