June 26, 2020 - Changemaker Story by Jos de Blok

In this session we ask how to organize home care in a holistic and decentralized way. We will hear from Ashoka Fellow Jos de Blok about his experiences with the model of decentralized leadership and Buurtzorg's response to the COVID-19 crisis. All attendees will have the opportunity to join in the discussion.

Jos is the founder of Buurtzorg. By avoiding unnecessary bureaucracy and working with small teams of nurses and healthcare providers, tailor-made care is provided to households in the neighborhood. This concerns nursing and personal care. Jos is now asked to share his effective approach all over the world.
