For example, they have been building a fairer food system, they organize healthcare in a more efficient way, and they work on future-oriented education.

These changmakers are scarce. They are currently illustrating the power of social entrepreneurship and bringing hope with their system changing innovations. Together with our network of influential people, we can provide them with expertise, a network and perhaps also financial support.

Together with you and our select select group of Ashoka Network Supporters (ASN), we will explore how we can help to further scale the solutions of these remarkable entrepreneurs.

June 19, 2020 - Changemaker Story by Emer Beamer

In this session we ask how to give children an active role in designing their own future. We will hear from Ashoka Fellow Emer Beamer about her experiences in reshaping childhood education. This event will embrace creative and collaborative methods, and all attendees will have the opportunity to contribute to the discussion through a series of interactive activities.

Emer is the founder of Designathon Works. Through a unique design method, (school) children aged 4-12 are given the chance to conceptualise, build and present their solutions to social problems, such as climate change or the COVID-19 crisis.
