About Yasmin

A concise translation: With the goal of tackling educational inequalities, Yasmin offers free mentorship on academic opportunities, exchange programs, science olympiads, and personal development through the project Life Change

Yasmin, from Eunápolis, Bahia, grew up facing the typical challenges of Brazil’s peripheries, where stable jobs were the main goal.

At 14, she began pursuing change through education and leadership despite community violence, family illness, and financial struggles. She founded Life Change in 2022 to fight educational and social inequality by offering free mentoring on academic opportunities, exchange programs, and personal development.

The project has impacted over 10,000 young people across Brazil with success stories including university admissions abroad and participation in prestigious programs like Harvard Model United Nations. Yasmin leads with empathy and believes true change comes from connecting and empowering young people to transform their communities. Her dream is for every young Brazilian to see their story as a source of strength to change the world
