Circular Economy research group receives Laudes Foundation grant
The Copernicus Institute of Sustainable Development has received a €498,000 grant from Laudes Foundation, for a project related to the social impact assessment of Circular Strategies in the Fashion Value Chain. The project is led by Prof. Ernst Worrel, Dr. Jesus Rosales Carreon and PhD researcher Lis Suarez-Visbal. The four-year project will analyse the Fashion Value Chain from a global and local perspective with emphasis in India, Spain and the Netherlands. It aims to provide evidence of quality of jobs, community well-being and gender equality of applied circular strategies in the fashion field. Partners of the research project include Ashoka, Conserve India (India) and Slow Fashion Next (Spain), and is part of the Circular Economy Hub.
