Sharvari is a development economist with diverse experience spanning the private sector and international development. She has worked with the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Thailand and the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) in Jordan, where she led impact assessments and advanced evidence-based programme design.
At Ashoka, Sharvari has overseen large-scale research and evaluation projects with Sattva and Sambodhi Research and Communications, including the organisation’s largest multi-stakeholder impact assessment to measure Ashoka’s influence on its ecosystem. She also directed the Livelihoods Project, bringing together stakeholders and forging partnerships to co-create climate-resilient livelihoods that empower communities.
Currently, she manages Youth Program which aims at influencing and equipping partners working to enable youth with changemaking, and entrepreneurial abilities. Outside of work, Sharvari is a passionate advocate for street animal welfare, mobilising communities and leveraging social media to promote care and protection for these animals.
