About Hriday A.

Healing through Music and Collective Care

Hriday’s work situates emotional healing and psychosocial wellbeing at the center of health, using music as a powerful, humanizing intervention. Through Music Factory, he transforms creative expression into a structured vehicle for healing—supporting acid attack survivors, cancer patients in palliative care, and other vulnerable groups whose health needs extend beyond clinical treatment. His approach recognizes that recovery and wellbeing are deeply tied to dignity, emotional support, and social inclusion.

What makes Hriday’s contribution distinctive is how he bridges health, empathy, and youth leadership. Music Factory is not charity-driven performance; it is a system where young musicians co-create healing spaces, raise funds for medical care, and engage communities in collective responsibility for health outcomes. With over ₹2 million raised and 17,000 people reached, the initiative has directly supported medical treatments while also addressing emotional isolation—an often invisible dimension of illness and recovery.

Hriday is now building a replicable arts-for-health model, with plans for college-based chapters and a national youth network using music and performance to support mental health, rehabilitation, and public health awareness. In doing so, Hriday expands the definition of health intervention—showing how creativity, peer leadership, and empathy can operate as scalable tools within the broader health ecosystem.
