WHAT IS THE GREEN LAB PROGRAM?

The Green Lab Program is Ashoka Hungary's program for solving specific environmental challenges, where teams work with corporate partners (Telekom, MasterCard, TMF Group) to develop ideas for specific challenges all the way to the business plan.

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE PROGRAM?


During a 4-5 month development process, program participants work with business partners and mentors in teams of 2-5 people to develop an idea to address the environmental challenges in the call, followed by a complete business plan.


At the end of the program, the projects will be presented to the public as part of a communication campaign, and the best ideas and business plans will be awarded a cash prize at the closing event, as decided by the jury.

 

 

 

 

WHY APPLY FOR ASHOKA GREEN LAB?

  • During the development process, you can learn the methodology of Design Thinking through experiential learning.

  • From your idea, you can develop a professional, complete business plan.

  • You can participate in the Telekom Kraft Program.

  • You will get an introduction to the basics of impact measurement with the help of Impact Academy professionals.

  • You can take part in group and individual mentoring.

  • You can work together with many business and professional partners, gaining not only professional knowledge, but also important relationships that may hold future professional career opportunities.

  • At the end of the program, your project will be presented to the public through a communication campaign.

  • The best projects will be awarded a cash prize at the closing event of the program. (HUF 1 million total prize money distributed among the best teams.)

  • The best business plans will be further assisted by the organizers of the program until the concrete implementation of the idea (possibility of professional and financial support).

 

APPLICATION AND PROGRAM PLAN

  • Announcement of the environmental challenges, the application form will be available at https://www.ashoka.org/en/program/green-lab in early February 2022.

  • Apply to participate in the program by submitting your application form: by mid-March 2022.

  • The development period begins in March 2022 and ends in September 2022 with a closing event.
