Les Ballons Intensifs Expands with New Soccer Camp in Pointe-aux-Trembles

Known for its basketball camps for the past 12 years, the organization Les Ballons Intensifs (LBI) will be launching its first summer soccer camp in Pointe-aux-Trembles in a few weeks.

This three-week pilot project will begin on July 5th at Daniel-Johnson School. The camp will adopt the same format as LBI's basketball camps, offering sports, community involvement, and cultural outings to young people aged 11 to 19.  The program is free, but requires a significant commitment from the participants, including being ready to train as early as 6:30 a.m.

The project coordinators, Jean-Daniel Estimable and Nassim Chahour, are thrilled to see this project finally come to fruition for the young people of the neighborhood. "This is something we've been working on for a long time. The young people have been asking us for this for far too long!" says Mr. Estimable enthusiastically.
